VBC is a fellowship of people who are committed to loving the Lord Jesus Christ and loving each other. While we are not perfect in this pursuit, we are striving to grow in our relationship with Jesus so that we find He is our satisfaction and contentment. Our desire is that you too will find in Him the one who fills you with joy as you are satisfied with God.

Currently we are studying the gospel of Mark. Since we are convinced one can not understand the Scriptures without understanding who Jesus is and what He is accomplishing, we want to grow in our understanding of Him. Whereas many merely wish to know what He commanded, we desire to know Him, and in light of knowing Him we then will desire to follow Him. Immediately we are examining what happens in a persons life when he comes in contact with Him. Join us to see and understand the powerful impact of coming into contact with Jesus.

In a nutshell our fellowship is committed to embracing what the reformers called the “solas.”  That is, we believe God’s authoritative truth is found only in the Scripture, salvation is found in Christ alone,  it is by grace alone that we are saved, this salvation is received by faith alone, and that salvation is from beginning to end to the glory of God alone.
